The Sunday Spore With D2: Bathroom Stall Edition

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestmailby feather

Don’t have much time to post this morning, unfortunately, but I wanted to share a photo I snapped in the men’s room in a vegetarian hipster restaurant in Denver. I share this photo with you on one condition: please do not ask me why I was in the men’s room of a vegetarian hipster restaurant in Denver.

Apparently VDB isn’t the only one with a Posse.

I think this calls into question some important paradigms.

In case you ain’t wise to it, read about HAGRID.

I can’t tell which makes me dorkier: the fact that I knew what this sticker was poking fun at, or the fact that I knew who Hagrid is.

About D2

I am a writer and a photographer. I never killed a man in Reno, but I once rode a bike through a casino in Vegas. Bikes are cool, huevos rancheros are for breakfast, whiskey is for dinner. Denver, Colorado, USA

  1. Well I see that young Tyler rode around two other guys to finish the Tour in P151. Go, Tyler!

  2. …ultimately i enjoyed this tour…kinda boring in spots but a brit win was hugely historic & all on the 40th anniversary of tommy simpson’s death…

…wiggo wore the jersey well, team sky was in control, chris froom is a revalation & a lean mark cavendish still got 3 wins despite all the talk about little support…how cool is it to see the yellow jersey leading out the world road champ in the finale on the champs ???…

…& cav going from such a long way out, proved that all things being equal, he is the absolute best at his discipline…(no pies were used in the making of that win – just sayin’)…

…i think chris horner was the glue that held radioshack leopard together…spartacus & jens were their usual great selves, there was the regular consistency of zubeldia & kloden but with all the travails they went through, horner not only placed well (13th) but he didn’t let spirits lapse & it worked…team prize winners when they could have easily imploded…

…george hincapie bows out strongly & gracefully & tj van garderen in white is a great hope for american cycling…

…all in all – nice bike race !!!…

  3. @02: I gorged myself on barbecued meats for lunch today to make up for the vegetarian encounter last night. I feel better now.

    And Hagrid=baller indeed.

  4. …it’s mikey’s fault…he started it…

    …bwahahaha…

…& i doubt deetwo is overly offended but i’ll send him a written apology if it makes you feel better, m’kay…

  5. since there is only once vegetarian restaurant in denver, you were at a total shithole. I know because I worked for the guy for 5 years. Mice shit in the food, cheap crappy food sold as fresh local organic, deep fried everything, and bad service to top it off. bah.

  6. I farted once and woke up a kid in China.

WTF are you people talking about ??

  7. The service was freaking terrible. I wouldn’t go back. Didn’t really want to go in the first place.

  8. Yeah, just about any restaurant worth anything has vegetarian options, or will accommodate special diets. If they won’t or can’t than the chef is a hack.

  9. D2, you gonna be in Vegas for IBike? You, me, Dirty, and that whacked out, bald, midget chuckin’ Canadian, need to meet up for beers, a lot of them.

Life changes suck worse than Vegans…..

  10. Mendon, I would like to hit up Interbike this year…will have to see how it all plays out. May need to connive a pass into the show, and I may need to whore myself out to afford the plane ticket, but I’d say it’s on the docket.

  11. …jeez…wishin’ i had the wherewithal to make it to ‘lost wages’ for i-bike this year…

…sounds like a good place to meet up with some ‘unmet’ on-line friends…

  12. D2,

A pass is easy considering where you work…also Transportation could shake out as well I’ll keep you in my loop. Last year we rode motorcycles….I think yours should be dialed by then no? If not there are other options.
