Cyclists down. North Carolina.

I know that all cyclists down are tragic and horrible. This one, especially so. Father and son out sharing a ride, much like sharing a game of catch, and they were both struck and killed by a drunk driver.

Look, I don’t have kids myself, but I know lots of you do. Be careful out there and keep them close and as safe as you can.

Damn, this one hits close to home. My brother lives in Wilmington and him and I have pedaled down that street numerous times. My thoughts go out to the family during this tragic time of loss. Be safe out there.
