Brew Ride

One man microest-micro brewery in Pittsburgh, East End Brewing hosted a beer ride on Friday evening. Show up, go for a meandering ride with owner/brewer Scott hauling a keg, drink a pint on him at a local bar.

Last year, two dozen people showed up. This year we’re talking 120+.

The kiddie trailer used as beer-truck was hurtin’ bad by the end, but there was eventually beer for all. And that’s worthy of writing about.

About Brad

Bikes are cool, and I’ve been making a go at this ‘industry’ thing for a while now. You may remember me from some nine years at Dirt Rag Magazine. Or not. Now I do some writing, wrenching and photography to pay the bills. And run my half of a little magazine project called Urban Velo. We love riding in the city. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

  1. Why don’t they do fun shit like this where I live?

Wait. I live in Georgia. Never mind.

Hauling a keg on a trailer like that is probably a felony here anyway.
