BUI Podcast: Ernest Gagnon Interview

D2 and self sat down for a chat with Ernest Gagnon a few weeks back, and here is the result.  We put the typical dick jokes and industry attacks aside to have a legitimate conversation with Ernest about bikes, weight loss, and motivation.  As always, HUGE THANKS to Mountain Bike Radio for giving us the platform to talk about what we want.  Check out their store, or become a member

About 40 Hands

A fan of riding bikes with one gear, malt liquor, riding without knowing how many miles I’ve covered, and strip clubs that let you bring your own keg. I typically have a stupid grin on my face, it is because deep down I know that no matter what, my mom thinks I’m cool. Denver, Colorado, USA

  1. A very interesting dude. His article on Lycra…wow! Really gives on a lot to think about.

I’m mainly a roadie and do think many motorists are aggressive towards cyclists because they’re jealous. They aren’t out having fun on a bike, they aren’t in as good of shape, they don’t look as good in Lycra. However, I try to stay positive and think about the people who say to themselves, “Wow, that guy is flying! Look at how fast he is! Look at how good he looks on that nice bike! I need to start cycling!”

  2. awesome interview as i am a Super Clydesdale in recovery as well. i never thought of the idea of decorating my house with broken bike parts – it must be way cooler than the decor my wife hangs on the walls. keep up the great work guys and best of luck to Ernest as i am in a similar camp – fuck them pharms and give me two wheels (and some IPAs). cheers!
