As one of my former bosses said…”in a perfect, happy world…”
ride clean and drink big!
If it were only that simple.
It is that simple but its not heroic. My heros are Mike Creed and Danny Pate to name a few…. mostly for there awkward interview skills.
To truly stand the moral high ground is a difficult thing, very difficult, insanely expensive and often unproductive. Is it worth it? After 47 years on this earth, that should be left up to the individual, only to be judged by peers and the public eye. Have I stood the high ground every time? Hell no. Have I tried hard to every time? Hell yes. Has it been worth it every time I took the difficult route instead of the easy or profitable one? Shit no. No matter what, there are people that will respect you, and people that will think you’re a douche bag. It’s the numbers of each that matter, and more importantly how you sleep at night.
