If you live in and around the Flagstaff area (Verde Valley, Sedona, Cottonwood, etc) and your kids like to mountain bike, this one is for you.

I’m planning our third FBO Youth Mountain Biking Program Sedona kids’ ride of the winter for Saturday January 12, leaving Flagstaff at 11 am and getting back between 5 and 7 pm. We will ride Bell Rock Pathway to Llama Trail or Templeton Trail — fun, challenging trails with some steep and technical sections.

We will have the Absolute Bikes van and/or other vehicles traveling from Flagstaff, so there will be plenty of room for kids and their bikes between Flagstaff and Sedona. As before, our plan will be to meet at the new location of Absolute Bikes on Rt. 66 in Flagstaff by 10:45 a.m. so we can load up and be ready to leave by 11. Guest ride leaders and parents who want to drive their kids separately are of course welcome to meet us at the Absolute Bikes in Village of Oak Creek on Rt. 179 around noon. Please RSVP and let me know who will be riding in the van or other carpool vehicles from Flagstaff.

As usual, please spread the word to friends, etc., but kids or adults who haven’t ridden with us before should talk with me before coming on this ride. We will cancel if there are muddy conditions but not for cold — check the weather and dress (or send kids with clothes) accordingly. Hope to see you soon.

About big jonny

The man, the legend. The guy who started it all back in the Year of Our Lord Beer, 2000, with a couple of pages worth of idiotic ranting hardcoded on some random porn site that would host anything you uploaded, a book called HTML for Dummies (which was completely appropriate), a bad attitude (which hasn’t much changed), and a Dell desktop running Win95 with 64 mgs of ram and a six gig hard drive. Those were the days. Then he went to law school. Go figure. Flagstaff, Arizona, USA
