Family, friends, big platters of food, twenty nine inch wheels and clean chamois. What are you thankful for?

That I can spell better than you can.

Could you tell I put in the “big platters of food” part as an afterthought? I typed right over the T in twenty… I’m thankful I have such a wonderful support staff!

Two wheels that will take me away.

  4. Kyle Says:

Thankful for a day off, good beer, great food, idiot friends, and the two wheels that are going to get me home after all that.

that my kids aren’t fuck-ups, that I have the good health to ride, ski and hike, that the house is warm and cozy, that there’s food in the fridge. That my wife made love to me this morning, and she’s telling me now to go outside and ride some singletrack with some buds. Holy shitfire! I be a lucky, and thankful, sumbitch.

Thankful that I have my dog, some friends that I don’t know faces of (y’all) and friends that I do (but not here) and thankful that my new Brooks saddle came in, and that my troubled molar finally has been removed (along with some hundreds out of my wallet) and most of all, thankful that today will be relatively QUIET.

Thankful for my kid, his health, my health, my pals that the elevator has, I think, stopped descending and that the challenges of the past year are mostly past and things can start getting better. Back to good, maybe even excellent. whew!

Thankful for the friends I have, thankful for the friend I just lost, thankful for a wonderful family and a wonderful wife…oh yes…and for the wet, muddy, grimy, dirty multiuse trails I rode today on my singlespeed and the perspective that gives me on my life.

We’re thankful that the homeless dude that sacked my sister-in-law’s car in broad daylight while we were running this morning got sidetracked chowing her dehydrated camp food and left the valuables alone.

I am thankful for the the good food, good beer, and the small family meal that will take place later today. Thankful that it will leave me with leftovers to stuff into my pack for snacks for I shall be flying with the pigs tomorrow morning.

The family is napping, and I’m tilting cans in the garage for all of us that made it and those of use who did not. RIP KB.

Couldn’t get away for a proper ride as we’re hosting my sister’s family for dinner, but I did air up the tires on several neglected bikes and ride each and every one around the block. God damn if happiness ain’t a garage full of bikes.

Seeing that pix I suddenly feel inadequate for some reason.

No comments please….I’m too busy ripping off Turkey farts.

    Gawd I love Thanksgiving.

I’m thankful for old friends, new friends, & new digs in Portland- with bike lanes as wide as car lanes!

Had some great turkey dinner & I’m off for a ride to the pub ;)

    Happy holidays!

my kids, wife, and rest of family. I have a decent job. Bikes are extra, but it is awesome my 3yr old wants to “mountain bike” on his 16″ bike. Pretty sure the 6mo old daughter in my arms right now will ride as well.
