There are a couple of years left to pull this off. I will raise 100k or more for the purse. Six figures seems respectable. This may be an Invitational depending on how I feel later on. The competition will result in a winner when no person is left, who has not given up the bikepacklyfe per elaboration below. There will be rules. Just because we all bought the kit and can theorize, the physical and mental toll will be testament. You will get your faceride on, and you might die. But if you win, the payoff…

The rules will be simple until we have a series. This will be the Grandfather. The original testament, of the ten testaments or more. All events will have a Gran Departe. ITT efforts will be a part of the mention record perhaps, but the grand departe is required for competition. There must be a big bang for anything itself.
There is no entry fee. Recording data will involve the KPI’s of: movement and non movement. And they/them/there entrants will be expected to publish. At minimum one reel/short per day. Is tocktok still going too or did america successful bury more truth? In sum this is Survivor Bikepack with and endtimes twist, but with an unlimited attendee roster, and any focus on the participants is entirely up to them but is also required. They will want to pick up where Lael got socially doxed.

The event can last as long as the final people can endure the fundamental task of living la vida BiciMochilero. They will be expected to ride continuously as if it were what they did even though they probably did something else before. The most seasoned veteran of this could be sitting in a tent on San Julian right now.

Yet crux will be equipment. Envision survivability and a new requisite of no urban routes as quotient to dirt. Everyone must ride. No rent can be paid. No job beyond a single day’s labor can be endured. This Transience requires a hedge against destitution, and given the parts and kit selection and entrants may prcurr, despair may never arrive but that is unlikely.
Eventually it will become a barrato style event and probably simply disappear from social context entirely, yet the participants will still be required to publish daily and post data of their daily migration. If they are smart and good this will be fruitful. They may team up at the Grande Departe if they so choose. This may provide for clearer division of labor with regard to route finding and publishing.
Entrants will also be required to ride point-to-point daily. No hot laps at McDowell Mountain park. No loops back home from Encinitas, no eddyingout in Pisgah. Each camp must be unique and verified by content review. This will continue for years perhaps. Then maybe after some years it will reappear as a winner will have been determined at some point for whatever reason the second or other person(s) had to seek domicile, employment, medical support, salvation, or 401k distributution., etc. Entrants may not reside in a place for more than three days but they may revisit places annually as migration patterns may persist.

there will be no external tracking. The only content and data that will be officially reviewed will be that of the winner. Every day of their journey, no matter how long, will be verified before payout. This rule may be modified in the future depending on feasibility of variable things.
As cheating is discovered, those contestants identified as cheating will be ignored. They are not BiciMochileros. Cheaters are nothing.

The 100 grand will be held in an escrow account. Failure to secure this purse funding will result in forfeiture of event.
