I’m trying to make.this a semi regular thing… So here is what has been pumping through my headphones lately.
Coast Contra – I noticed them on the bill for opening for Wu-Tang and had to dig a little deeper. Literally contradicting all coasts style… a little Los Angeles, mixed with Miami and a dash of Philly style. This freestyle is wild and here is their Spotify page.
Lambrini Girls: British punk is one of my vices and these ladies are the future. They are even named after some cheap pear/wine swill. With song names like “Big Dick Energy” and “Cuntology 101” – I think this album shreds.
Scott H. Biram: Came through town a while back and I was lucky enough to have my camera with me and a spot by the stage,

The self proclaimed “Dirtiest One Man Band” he definitely delivered that in his live performance. It’s some good, old fashioned truck driving music. It hits real good on those rides where you are cruising at sunset and don’t quite want to go home yet.
Volk: Another band I stumbled upon when they opened for a Goddamn Gallows show here in Bisbee. Volk is a 2 piece, guitar and drums, that make a real big sound. Plus they cover the modern classic “Snake Farm” – you can’t go wrong with that

**I recently learned that Henry Rollins has a weekly radio show and he posts the playlist from every show on his website. There’s a lot to dig into there. Enjoy!
