I stopped during lap two of the local ‘cross race to drink some beer. Eric, the guy just behind me, stopped as well to share. Just letting you know some of the people in the southeast get it.

I didn’t know that you couldn’t not drink beer in a cross race in the Southeast?
I was at a cross in Hagerstown MD and since it was at the fairgrounds and The Peoples’ Republic has these Draconian booze laws, alkyhaul was verboten. Jeeze, why even get out of bed in the morning if The Man is gonna be that way?

Thanks to the guys at the Nashville Bicycle Lounge and Yazoo Brewery, the single speed race was well hydrated!! We each took a drink for every lap we completed! Dan, you my friend are a bad influence!! Cheers!

@joetheelectrician- did you attend Charm City Cross? I saw they had beer there and that was a city park(Druid Hill Park)? I wonder how they got away with it there? I guess if your mayor can use thousands of dollars of gift cards for herself, you are allowed a few beers in a city park
