Cycling clothing and the old man zip off leg pants are a fucking grand slam of a clothing selection to have on for todays DC post.

I got some new Truvativ cranks for the wagon wheeled bike of mine. So far I am digging em’ and I like the 36t ring they come with. Or, you can get a 38t.

I was in North Dakota this last week and drove by a school that had bikes just laying around in the front of the school. Maybe they haven’t learned about stealing yet to buy meth or they don’t sell locks in North Dakota.

The week of the bike show I had to stay in my home town to work so this is about as rowdy as it got for me that week…

A few weeks ago I went to Minneapolis and  my friend TC Worley showed me some local trails they have there – Fuck they are fast and so fun on the SS stupid wheeled sized machine. I didn’t see any hippies doing earth hikes, no dudes on horses and the garbage was  thrown far back in the bushes you couldn’t see it. Lebanon Hills was one of the places I rode and it was just polished single track with awesome bank turns.

While I was in “City of Lakes” I was able to meet a guy by the name of Seve and he passed me a really nice shirt (its dirty currently) and a beer condom to keep it safe from the nasty heat. I am using mine currently to chill my hot sauce. Check out 29nSNGL they seem to be a rad bike gang.

  1. this post is hells of awesome, broe. i wish you could spend a week photodoc’ing my life, but sure your “additional boredom damage” fees would likely sink me.

  2. This is some shit. Some goddamned shit. I now know what to do with all those superflous BMC frames I have as well.

  3. The 29 and Single Crew put on a rad event yesterday these guys can party and ride bikes reminds me a bit of the crew that hung out at the Sinauga Cycles Shop.
The Lebanon Hills is good stuff for being in a concrete jungle

  4. …lebanon hills: carved by the wheels of coolness…

…& if it’s that smooth all the way, that is cyclo-cross fucking city…

    …yowzah !!!…

  5. The next time you show a picture of Knob Creek or equivalent hiqh quality bourbon – please do not show the bottle full. This is your faux pas. You can redeem yourself accordingly at a later date.

  6. Au contraire, Littlejar. Much like the clothed Salma Hayek, a full bottle of good bourbon is a special kind of beauty…all full of promise and hope, waiting to be torn into with gusto, or slowly sipped from: there’s no wrong way.

  7. Lebanon Hills is must-ride (even without the teeter), as is Murphy Hanrehan (especially with lights).

  8. Gotta go with KT on this one. Anticipation is one of life’s sweetest pleasures.

  9. Caveman and I rode both Lebanon and Murphy – back-to-back. I know how to give a guy a tour ;) Leb can be done on CX, but there are a lot of obstacles for some- I rather like it on the CX though, as it’s extra tough. Hurry back, Cavie.

  10. …mr worley…i got a feeling if i ever get up wisconsin way, you, sir, are the man to go cross riding ‘lebanon’ with…

…i never manage to do anything the easy way, so ‘cx X lebanon’ sounds right up my alley…

  11. Murphy is so damn fun! I wanted to get my camera out there also but the fun factor was way too high. I am still running those trails thru my mind everyday. Cavie will be back soon.
