Jonny,
My buddy Jake, who is my touring/riding partner and
all around bike ripper has been working for this
environmental awareness company called 2041,
www.2041.com. He returned from a stint working for
them in Antarctica only to head back out on their
sailing voyage around the world. It’s going well and
it’s a cool environmental thing. You can check their
blog under the “voyage” section. In a recent blog my
boy Jake wrote an appropriate poem while docking in
Portland —

“While sailing to Portland slow
An awesome crew I got to know
Suffering through the rain and snow
Soon to a new pub I go.”

BTW he rode the boat’s folding bike out to get said
brew.
