Did anyone catch the report, which I think is a book now, on the data compiled that Bush has lied 950+ times given ~580 opportunities in public speeches? I briefly caught some of it on NPR yesterday. It seems the occurrence of lies spikes with political timing. Not really news, but now, with the internet etc.., the data can be applied to statistical analysis. It is no longer “1000 points of light”, but rather “1000 points to lie about”.
Does anyone know more about this? Please comment.

Reminds me of something the late, great Molly Ivins used to say about Ol’ Bushie when he was in the Texas statehouse…. about how you could tell from the lies and the photo ops who was gonna get it next. If he did a bunch of pics with kids in his office, you came to know that school funding was about to get attacked.
