Adelaide posterv2_colorOkay, I know I don’t need to tell you guys twice to come drink free beer. I know I’ve been pimping the hell out of this, but it’s for a good cause and there’s FREE FUCKING BEER.

There’s also a killer silent auction.

I love this event because so many people have stepped up to help Adelaide out. I wish this could happen for every person that gets hit by some dumbass driver, and maybe that’s exactly what we need to make happen. Adelaide got fucked up by this inattentive numbnuts and her life is changed forever; there are others like her that don’t get the same support because they don’t happen to sit one desk over from D2. But maybe that needs to change. How do we do it? Tell me. Seriously. Someone has to have a good idea.

Anyway, enough of that shit. Just come drink beer and bid on cool bike stuff if you’re in Denver/Boulder on November 19th. It’ll be a damn good party.

  2. Start a non profit dedicated to advocacy and financial help, social media outreach, and general support (meals delivered to hospital) to victims of this type of thing? Lobby local municipalities for tougher laws for drivers who cause injuries or death. Wonder if there is grant money out there for this.

  3. Sidebar: I had a ride the other day. First time in 2 months cause of medical troubles. I rode like the motherfucker I am.

    I got back home after around 3 hours…..I sat on the bottom steps of the shitty apartment I live in…..And my head was so wired I could see sounds.

    Drink beer and ride.

    That is all.

  4. My opinion is ride the bicycle enjoy the ride till you are done. Drink & Drive not advisable at any given time.

  5. Implementation of more strict laws for the harsh driving will make the condition better rather than drinking.Its just the need to be more protective rather than closing eyes on what is happening and let it continue.
