May 5-11, 2014 is Ride for Reading Week, and that is just around the corner.  As of now there are 52 rides to deliver books in 30 different cities.  With two and a half weeks until the first rides happen, it’s time to start looking into if any rides are scheduled in your area.  The ride dates and times will vary throughout the week depending on the specific ride to deliver books.  If you have the time and desire to help out CONTACT the folks at Ride for Reading to get more information in regards to how to help out.

If you have forgotten about how great Ride for Reading is, feel free to take some time to refresh your brain with Dirty’s write up from his book delivery in West Texas this past January, or when the Naked Cycling ladies did a book delivery in Denver last year.

About 40 Hands

A fan of riding bikes with one gear, malt liquor, riding without knowing how many miles I’ve covered, and strip clubs that let you bring your own keg. I typically have a stupid grin on my face, it is because deep down I know that no matter what, my mom thinks I’m cool. Denver, Colorado, USA

  1. Last year I volunteered and helped on a RfR event in Guadalupe Arizona. It was SFC to see the reaction – the unBRIDLED excitement – on the faces of the kids getting the books.

You want to do something awesome? Something that will make you feel like a rock star? Something that brings joy to a child?

    Volunteer at RfR.
