While riding my bike I have ran over a duck, been buzzed by humming birds, and come face to face with a Great Horned owl. But never once has the thought crossed my mind to strap a sack full of meat to my back and get chased by a goddamn falcon.

  1. We have Peregrines up here, I’ve mostly seem them taking pigeons or starlings. In southern Utah, I’ve watched Prairie Falcons stopping at Starlings.
