This past weekend I got myself and my camera out to see a band called Listener. I rather enjoyed the show and would think if they are coming in your direction in the next year put em’ on the calendar. Wow, I didn’t say one bad word in this post…

Listener is amazing – they’ve performed here in Ypsilanti MI a number of times at our head mechanic’s basement. Thanks for spreading the word!

Okay, I got a m00sical question for you punks out there.
One of my favorite Hüsker Dü songs ever is “Erase Today,” and I can’t find out for the life of me who wrote it. Obviously, either Mould or Hart. Any of you web search geniuses have the terms to ferret out this nugget? Oh, and don’t forget to play it loud.

The version of “Erase Today” that I have is on an SST compilation and runs just over one minute thirty seconds. Apparently, the “unreleased” version on non-U.S. versions of _New_day_Rising_ runs over two minutes long. Amazon.com lists the songs incorrectly. Play it loud, people.
