Alberto Contador returned to a hero’s welcome in his native Spain after taking out a third Tour de France on Sunday, the fifth Grand Tour triumph of his career.
and:
“Congratulations Alberto, now [it's time for] the fourth Tour, because I’m sure you’re going to win [again].”
- Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero
In his mind, Contador must have said “¡pinche armstrong!”. I digress. He can handle the pressure. I believe he is familiar with being desperate.
What’s to say of that? Fault it? Drugas? Novice? Dude is 29. Not young. Perhaps that will be his issue, but ask for a fourth? Worthless. How about eight. That is the measure. That is, unless Pharmstrong is undeniably implicated. Then everyone from here on out will have an excuse as to why they caint win seven tour de frances in a row.

If you wanted to know what Tour for Kika is, you could just google it:
http://www.tourforkika.org/en/home.html
Gnome, you might have met Michael Robertson (VeloDramatic) as the photographer with Rapha Continental or with the Specialized ride to Vegas.

Can’t somebody just tell me what the Tour for Kika is? My fingers are tired. Oh, ok…
Murali, I hit the trails with Michael @ Velodramatic and the Rapha crew last year. They stopped for a bit in FLG town as part of their scouting effort out on the reservation for sublime cycling footage in Chinle. We hit the trails for a bit. Had a good time. They were a good crew of peeps. I’d have to say they were living the dream if I’ve ever known what that looks like.

…finally found it…‘tour for kika’ donations go for cancer research for kids…these guys have been doing it for a number of years…
…though they were just riding around having a good time but it seems they’re not only just riding around having a good time but kids benefit from it…that ain’t bad…
…ok…shoes off, uh, uh, uh, carry the 1 & that =’s 12…got it…

…this message has been up on lance-sters twitter thingy (ya, i know…so sue me) for the last three days, “Building sand castles, soaking up my family, free divin’, 12 ounce curls, livin’ strong and carefree.”…which is good in my book for any healthy 38 year old who just rode 3 weeks of “tour de france”…
…what’s unsaid, however, is that “my lawyers have been working ‘cavendish-in-the-final-200-meters’ly’ on the problem at hand”…
…carry the 1 = 11…hey, this is getting easier…

More on the Tour for Kika; “a day before the pros circle the streets of Rotterdam, fifteen intrepid Dutch lads will set out to ride the 3600 km of this year’s Tour de France for Kika, a Netherlands-based charity supporting research into childhood cancers.” See velodramatic.com/archives/5398.
