The man, the legend. The guy who started it all back in the Year of Our Lord Beer, 2000, with a couple of pages worth of idiotic ranting hardcoded on some random porn site that would host anything you uploaded, a book called HTML for Dummies (which was completely appropriate), a bad attitude (which hasn’t much changed), and a Dell desktop running Win95 with 64 mgs of ram and a six gig hard drive. Those were the days. Then he went to law school. Go figure.
Flagstaff, Arizona, USA
this morning i said, it’s twenty degrees, the bike can wait. took an extra hour of con. law lecture just to be some place warm. and do you know what? it waited. it was still butt-ass, dick-shriveling cold on my way home.
mid-50s and dry, bagged thirty miles, and for once I didn’t freeze my feet. Bald eagles quarreling down at the boat launch and I almost ran over a ring-tail bandit by Phantom Lake. Got my fist curled around a Deschutes Inversion IPA as I type. Life, she is good. Keep the rubber side down, y’all.
Very nice pump, what is that?
good call, Johnny.
i saw a bald eagle today, too, when i was riding here in Fruita, Usa. nothing like a bit of amateur ornithology to help pass the miles. i’m lovin’ it… it’s a sure sign of spring when the Western Meadowlarks are a cheepin’ on the fenceposts again. not getting a whole lot above freezing, still. makes ya feel alive, though, when you’re thawing out apres velo.
that pump looks like the ol’ classic chrome Silca dog-deterrent special.
My Steamroller is so old, it’s got no rear-brake mount. It blows, because it’s my favorite summer bike, but my knee is shot for fixie riding. (And from it, i suspect…)
That is a helluva long stem!
Big Kitch, steel is real, chromo or ????
Love those extree wide cable holders.
16 degrees, snow went south.
I think splitting wood warms better than the actual fire.
PA bike law advises to ride in the middle of the right lane. That shit looks good on paper – from behind a desk. Do you remember what it’s like to slow down a power hungry ultra rushed PA driver?!?
Have fun in bike lane villa del sol.

feck recktangles. keep it circles, aight?
Rear brake on a fix?
How far did you go on that rig?
The first ride, on Friday, was an hour and a half. The second ride, on Saturday, was for two hours.
