Hey bg, most vineyards in Cali don't know what Kelly's
wine is either. Ahhh, "A fine sipping wine with a touch of the Old Blarney".
Memories of so much puke, sooooo much.
Do you guys have this shit in the USA?

Eagle Rock is just West of Pasadena; these joints are in ER and I can personally vouch for the delish,

Fatty's (topshelf beer and wine and the food is so good you won't care that it's veggie)- http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/5/65586/restaurant/Eagle-Rock/Fattys-LA

Auntie Em's (down homie, LA style)- http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/5/60771/restaurant/Eagle-Rock/Auntie-Ems-Kitchen-LA

The York (drinks, never had the food)- http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/5/182180/restaurant/LA/Eagle-Rock/The-York-Highland-Park

Not far away in Atwater Village - you gotta make the lunch pilgrimage to Tacos Via Corona, on Glendale Blvd.

Baracoa for Cuban. http://www.baracoacubancafe.com/

Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles too, they've got a few locations.

Downtown LA, brave the hipsters and the cue for Wurstkuche - around 2 doz. micros and craft imports on tap and just about as many different homemade sausages including rattlesnake - it's upscale hotdogs and fries and damn if it ain't good. http://www.wurstkucherestaurant.com/

I haven't found bars I like in Pasadena (don't mean there aint good'ns), but you might wander afield and try The Tee Gee, The Little Joy, The Little Cave, Footsies, All Star Lanes, Johnny's, Barbara's or Bar 107.
