wow...I came on here thinking "I'll just read DC then check out peopleofwalmart for some laughs after a shitty day". Same wavelength I guess. Perhaps that's why I read this even though nobody knows me on here.

Yup, stayin with Buck and the Fam was swell. Rather amusing that after riding from seattle to Harrisburg on the pain train, the most fun i could manage to have was to go on a mountain bike ride!! Ahh well, made it NYC, only to find myself back in Colorado in about the same amount of time it took me to get across country, and with a broken leg in durango i just hung loose till sswc. .alas, stompn again, chekc the stompa blog for a recap of a nice 100 mile ride on the white rim this weekend.. stompn, sstomp away. . mAx

Stomparillaz Max Cooper had a weekend of no camping here in PA right before Christmas. And what did we do for fun while he was here? Ride a lap around the Harrisburg Green Belt (I was in knee recovery mode). Mind you, it was at night and heavy with can beer and Yeager.

HIs bike's name is "The John Wayne Pain Train"

Good Times!

Oh, yeah... Reichel had an effect all right. (and so did Neal, Garn, Matt, Eric and Paul) Lets see, it wasn't EXACTLY unicorn tears that I cried the next morning, but something even gayer, as I missed my 10:30 flight back to Denver. I got on the next one some 6 hours later, which was the kiss of death, as I timed my arrival in Denver perfectly with the winter storm coming through. I have lived in Colorado my entire life, and had never seen ice balls the size of my fist form on the windshield wiper. The normal 3 hour trip from DIA back to G'Wood took 6 hours.

Now that I've driven in a blinding snow storm ON TOP OF a blinding hangover, I can say that I truly can achieve anything in this world.

Thanks Gnome for hooking us up. Reichel and crew lived up to the challenge of hosting a stompa... and more, in fact, You see, I never want to hear Bluegrass music again.

Big thanks to Neal for showing me around South Mountain Park.

DC Crew is clearly cut from the same tartan. See you all in the mountains for some snow slidin' this winter.
