I’ve had Tokyo Police Club on regular iPod rotation for about a year. I have The Fratellis on the same playlist – great for running.

Give Oppenheimer a look if you haven’t. I saw them open for TMBG last year. Very odd duo from Belfast. Poppy electronica, ELO meets OMD – has a futuristic 80′s feel – they make a lot of sound for two guys. Sounds best on headphones – the music’s very busy.

At The Drive In was one of my favorites. I was pretty glad when I realized that their demise would lead to two more amazing bands.

I wish I could go back to the show that I saw them play with Jimmy Eat World in a hole in the wall in Winston-Salem 10 years ago.

Those were the days.

Queens are fucking TIGHT live…saw them open for Chili Peppers a few years back…they are precise like Helmet…like pushin’ PLAY on the stereo…

That Deftones video is awesome. I saw them play with Quicksand about a million years ago.. Aside from my AMIGOs, they’re just about the only thing good to ever come out of Sacramento.
