Boring…Yawn… Ho Hum…Snore fest…My point is this site is now a complete waste of space! It used to be good reading with some good controversial content with a little T & A thrown in here and there… but now it seems someone has gotten you by the balls. So what up these days with the attitudes of Flagstaff Cyclists? Seems to me there is a small minority voicing their negative opinions about Flatlanders from PHX using and racing on the local trails in Flag. Most of these same guys were once Flatlanders themselves!What happened to sharing the trails and looking out for every cyclist? So what they held a race and blocked off the trail for a weekend or two. Pitting the north against the south is not going to do any good. That’s would be like removing porn from a good cycling site. Only bad things will happen.
There is also people that think some of the local Flag trails are ‘not safe’ for a race ennvironment or ‘can’t handle the extra traffic requirements’. Boo Hoo! It is called mountain biking and is considered an extreme sport. Who wants to race down a wheel-chair path?
MBAA and its BofD has also received some bashing. All I can say is I have been on both sides; as a racer and promoter. Nobody is doing this for the money! MBAA is happy if they break even! We need to be thankful that there is still people around to put on races and promote cycling. The people that don’t like the current state of racing in AZ should create a new organization.

Whilst in Los Angeles, the compromise was that I missed the last 3 days of the Giro for which I am ever thankful that universalsports.com picked up. That said, I missed Mencov eating shit, but here’s what happened in the bus when he hit the deck. Damn son.
Friday is coming on. That means the local artwalk here. Maybe you have something like that there. I don’t know. Gotta roll out to the cyn to drop off some goods.

Speaking of BICAS (thanks for the shout out in the post earlier), if you haven’t been to our website in a while then you might not know about all the mierda going on with our space.
Nuts and bolts: BICAS’ rent was raised over 200% on June 1st by our greedy, uncommunicative landlord who used to be our friend but now wants us out so he can commodify the BICAS basement by turning it into 20 artist studios (and charge even more rent). BICAS needs to move (sad) in order to maintain our financial security and continue to serve the community.
