But when the reason for it's illegality is not derived from the damage it does to the people who use it, but from the pharmaceutical companies who keep it down with their political power (i.e. money)...i tend to take that "law" with a grain of salt. Nothing in the government is done because of what's "good" or "decent". It's done based on how much money it can possible make for that government. Just because the government says something is bad doesn't mean it is. You gotta look past what their saying and find out WHY they're saying it. If you've ever had experience with both alcohol and cannabis, you already know which is the worse of the two. And yet that one is legal..... I think that you should be able to get a legit prescription from a doctor for a genuine medical need, go to a pharmacy and get it in cigarette, pill or liquid form....period. I have no problem with trying to legalize weed, actually I'm for it, but doing it under the guise of a medical necessity just hurts both causes.
