Six-no, seven-but only two are intact. My Crosscheck, the go-to bike is set up fixed. 62 cm with an uncut steerer. Best old man bike ever. And my ninety-something HooKoo, Singlated and rigid. The Monocog ain't been ridden in awhile, and there's my 78 Raleigh Supercourse needing built back up after distinguished service as a fixie. Plus an Allez Sport I snagged for $20 at a thrift shop, my Fuji League to be finished and a crappy lugged Schwinn frame in the basement that'll probably get some parts if I can find something else to use as a doorstop. Oh, almost forgot-The wife's old tenspeed. Might put that together for the kid. Come to think of it, they're all steel. And no, I've never particularly felt any weight penalty. I sold 3 of them. 2 mth bikes and a cross bike. I am dow to just one mtn bike and I might just sell it. for some reason I just ride my road bike(s) and I love riding my 29er more than any of them when I can it is just too time cumbersome to get a ride in on a mnt bike. more prep before and after and drive to and from. now days if I gots to put my bike on the car to get a ride in Im not gonn ride. I know I suck it one of which I ride. 10 of which I dust and look at a lot; take shit on and off etc. you know the deal. now if each could cover the mortgage month to month my wife wouldnt be so pissed hows that stem look on the Fond?
