Gold Member dragged me out for a pre-dawn assault. It was my first ski of the season. It was past due. This is pretty much how it went down:
5am. No cheese but the cheezits. Improvise. by 6am, the coffee had yet to kick in. I felt like my boy looks.
Gold Member drops the hammer on the ascent.
The Future is late for work, splits early.
The S.F. peaks cast their dawn shadow over Kendrick, and into the canyon.
Stephan shows how it’s done.
Dropped on the descent. Learn’n ain’t easy.
One hour up. Ten minutes down. Successful avoidance of the bummer life.

Gnome-
Sweet.
I went skate skiing Sunday, my first time out on such spindly little toothpicks. Man, you can haul ass, though. It’s awesome cross-training for cycling ’cause you’re on the edge of blowing up the entire time.

Yea man, there ain’t no doubt about it. Had I embraced the skate ski and tele back when I was trying to go for it in racing, I would have been much happier. Too much roller will kill you.

Hey SnowSnob Mike,
Yeah we never find good snow to ski in N. AZ so stay in UTARD and ColoRadBro for all your skiing.
