Random & Useless

I like what Belgium Knee Warmers has to say about the electronic Drua Ace groupo. What’s it called… the Di2

I appreciate the idea of a Milwakee Mimosa almost as much as I miss Michael Bussmann and Sausage.

YuriB. Less talkie. More Doie… Yuri & crew as they expand their ever burgeoning knowledge of how to avoid the city, when they’re in the city.

Studded Tires already? Jeebus.

LIfe’s aready hard enough without this bullshit. What’s wrong with people?

Bush chimes in on the economy.

I got out for a little freshy pow pow diddy around Elden and the loop trail for Vertans Day. Might be the best snow ride evar. Elden Springs was covered with about 4 inches of untracked snow. I called it my Veterans Day ride. It was good and it gave way to a sunshiny southeastern Loop Trail that made it feel like spring again.

I can attest personally to the glory of the Milwaukee Mimosa. However, I take issue with the beer, though PBR is a fine libation and goes down well while ringing a cowbell at a cross race, the true Milwaukee Mimosa requires High Life. It is, after all, the “Champagne of Beers.”

well put. I’ll note that for the next round.

How come Milwaukee gets the credit? Hell, we’ve been chugging those for breakfast in Chicago for ages and calling it a beermosa.

At one of the Cycle Jerks events last summer they served those but you dropped a shot of amaretto into it as well. Yummy

Haha…this comment sums up Di2 for me: “traditionalists are wondering what unasked question has been answered.”

I dunno. I friend who rode it (yes on the trainer) at Interbike said tha same thing I’ve read. Makes front shifting eaiser and more reliable. Self trimmng is cool. Back shifts, not much improvement, cuz it’s already good. One reviewer I read said that he did a lot more front shifting than ever before.

Upgrade the front, leave the back in the cable.
