Bars On Bikes – Tucson Chapter….

It’s proper etiquette that if you’re going to have a bike swap, you’re going to need a B.O.B. if at least, to catch up with good friends and drink with them, straight into the gutter…

Subject: Bars On Bikes Tucson

El Swap-o Bars on Bikes…brought to you by people who would prefer to not be accountable for the massive amount of debauchery that’s about to go down.

The Plan: Saturday, November 15th 2008, Congregate at Bison Witch’s on 4th Ave between 5:30-6ish. Head out after whoever we expect to show up shows up.  Going east to Bob Dob’s.  Head back through 3rd st and Campus.  Maybe hit University St real quick for a bite to eat maybe, just maybe.  Head south into Downtown, either Club Congress or that one place across the street with the pool tables or Barrio Brewery if we can find it.  Then back north across the Rattlesnake bridge to 4th.  Hit the Hut, Shanty, Surly Wench or whatever combination of.  Then cap it all off back at Bison Withches.  Should keep it at 1-1 1/2 hours and as many beverages humanly possible to consume per destination to keep things moving.

Much skidding, curb hopping, friendly bike derby-ing and the like in-between destinations.  Bring a bike lock, bring lights front and back, wear a helmet if so inclined. Be responsible for self and others who can’t be due to impairment. Mind the trolley tracks. Don’t forget to close your tab. Put taxi’s phone number on speed-dial for friend stuck in bathroom hugging toilet.

See you at Bison on 4th Saturday Evening.

Keywords there: “Mind the Trolly Tracks”. no Joke. Those things will kill you.

Tucson. Bikes. Beer. I’m in. Hope to see ya’ll there…
