The batcall went out and we descended upon Gooseberry Mesa outside of Hurricane, Utah. 5 rides in 3 days over some of the most engaging slickrock and singletrack trails around and no other riders. Labor Day weekend and we only encountered 2 riders. If you haven’t made the trek to Gooseberry Mesa or any of the trails outside of Hurricane, UT, make sure you set aside a little time and go check it out. And if you’re a local, consider yourself damn lucky!

Been there a few times… awesome. There are a lot of other great trails in the area too but Gooseberry is one of those ‘must ride’ trails.
I actually prefer the St. George/Hurricane area over Moab.
