Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure

My man Chris is on a cross county ride that started on the 16th. Check the route – it’s the real deal. And it benifits the Fuller Center, a group I have never heard of before this ride. And I guess maybe that’s the point of this exercise – to raise awarness.

Juan Grande,
I’m in La Jolla enjoying the cool temps before we start the ride Monday. Our first day will see 4,000 of climbing right into the desert and 110 temps. Yeah, it’s like that. Anyway, found a really cool used
bike store here, Velo Culture. Tons of fixie bikes and NOS collector bikes, like an early 80’s Mercycx signed by Eddie. Cool cats working there, indeed. Then I rode to the other end of town, where California Bikes is located. Can’t miss them, they’re next door to the Lamborghini dealer. No lie. Plenty of eye candy bikes in stock, but give me Velo Culture any day. Word.

be in Surprise, AZ by week’s end.
Peace. Out.

About big jonny

The man, the legend. The guy who started it all back in the Year of Our Lord Beer, 2000, with a couple of pages worth of idiotic ranting hardcoded on some random porn site that would host anything you uploaded, a book called HTML for Dummies (which was completely appropriate), a bad attitude (which hasn’t much changed), and a Dell desktop running Win95 with 64 mgs of ram and a six gig hard drive. Those were the days. Then he went to law school. Go figure. Flagstaff, Arizona, USA
