From BBC news :
A car dealership in the United States is offering a free handgun with every vehicle sold.
Max Motors in Butler, Missouri, says sales have quadrupled since the start of the offer.
Customers can choose between a gun or a $250 (£125) gas card, but most so far have chosen the gun.
Owner Mark Muller said: “We’re just damn glad to live in a free country where you can have a gun if you want to.”
Well I guess that settles that. Oh and then there’s this…
Why Obama lost Ky.
My favorite part is where the woman stammers and then whips out the “I’m not a racist… but “ line. Priceless. It’s not enough that these people got fucked a long time ago (which is without question what happened…) and that they are all but forgotten people (they are…) but that no one has even tried to bring these people out of their shit-filled existence and helped them out of their miserable, poverty-riddled way of life.
In a part of the country where education is frowned upon and racism is so deeply ingrained there are no winners. Period. When Hillary says she has more support from ‘working class whites’ she means these people, and she wins by default. (Even if it’s only a small grudge vote as she is a woman.)
Let’s not forget about the old foggy-brained people in Florida.
“If my policies are wrong, vote against me because my policies are wrong,” Mr. Obama told several hundred people gathered inside the synagogue, B’nai Torah Congregation. “Don’t vote against me because of who I am.”
First, he fielded questions about his name, which he acknowledged is probably at the root of false rumors about his being Muslim. He is a Christian, he said, and gently told one man, “People shouldn’t worry about my name.”
Then, another man was booed by neighbors when he questioned Mr. Obama about his associations with supporters of the Palestinians, specifically Rashid Khalidi, director of the Middle East Institute at Columbia University and a Palestinian rights advocate. Finally, the man asked Mr. Obama for a list of Jewish supporters who could vouch for him.
“I have to be very cautious about this,” Mr. Obama said, “because you remember the old stereotype, ‘I’m not prejudiced, some of my best friends are Jewish,’ right? ‘I’m not prejudiced, some of my best friends are black.’ ”
Yes… This is what political discourse has come down to in our nation. Placating the racist, gun-toting, rednecks and the old Jews who more than likely have never been to Israel and who only watch Fox news and accept it as truth.
Fuck me… Denver is going to make my head explode if it doesn’t before then.by
