I think that a small dose of snarkyness here and there is an adequate level of coverage. Pro cycling just hasn't been the same since Jesper Skibby retired.

Isn't there a race gong on now...? Some thing with a 'G...' in it... like 'Gumball da Pasta' or some such crap...?

Im not sure, as I gave up on roadies what with all the damn juicing, doping, blood-infusionation... Its like they are a REAL sport or something.

But shouldn't one of us write something about it? Aside from my snarkyness, I mean ?

...i've said it before but in light of this new info, it bears repeating...first, think about what bush43 is saying...realize that a whole smorgasbord of other "complimentary" drugs are being used along side the 'epo'...

...these athletes live like glorified, highly paid junkies...an ugly world of lying, cheating, subterfuge, constant needle use, hiding actions & whereabouts, worry about getting caught, worry about getting supplied, constant lying to friends, family & loved ones...

...but it's all wrapped up in a world of money, fame & public adoration & glory, so somehow that justifies it in the athletes mind...what an amazing & idiotic existence...

I've got the doping recipe down. Thanks for the info!
<a href="http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/more_sport/athletics/article3941984.ece" rel="nofollow">www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/more_sport/athletics/article3941984.ece</a>

EPO was used 3 days per week during the “corrective phase,” which is the first two weeks of a cycle. Typically, it was on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. It was only used once per week during the “maintenance phase” thereafter, typically this was every Wednesday. The dosage was 4000 IU per injection. The purpose was to increase the red blood cell count and enhance oxygen uptake and utilization. This substance provides a big advantage to sprinters because it enables them to do more track repetitions and obtain a much deeper training load during the off season. EPO becomes undetectable about seventy-two hours after subcutaneous injection (stomach) and only twenty-four hours after intraveneous injection.
