Save the date! The wind is starting to blow, the really big snow banks are almost melted, spring is right around the corner and so is Flagstaff’s seventh annual Bike to Work Week.

Please plan to join us for the Kick-Off Commuter Ride on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 7:30 am. The event starts on Aspen Avenue in front of City Hall with opening remarks and a proclamation, takes a short group ride through downtown and the southside, and winds up at Heritage Square for breakfast and presentation of a brick to individuals who have helped make Flagstaff a better place for bikes. This ride is always a lot of fun.

Other events planned for Bike to Work Week include:

Sunday: Bike Bazaar at Heritage Square, Human-Powered Parade
Monday: Kick-Off Commuter Ride
Tuesday: FUTS Cruiser Ride
Wednesday: Bike to Work Day, Breakfast Stations, Bicycle Town Hall
Meeting
Thursday: Bike to School Day, Movies and Awards at the Orpheum.

Watch for additional details in the coming weeks, and check the Flagstaff Biking Organization Bike to Work Week website flagstaffbiking.org/bike-to-work-week for more information. Please feel free to pass this email along to anyone who might be
interested.

Hope to see you there!

About big jonny

The man, the legend. The guy who started it all back in the Year of Our Lord Beer, 2000, with a couple of pages worth of idiotic ranting hardcoded on some random porn site that would host anything you uploaded, a book called HTML for Dummies (which was completely appropriate), a bad attitude (which hasn’t much changed), and a Dell desktop running Win95 with 64 mgs of ram and a six gig hard drive. Those were the days. Then he went to law school. Go figure. Flagstaff, Arizona, USA

  1. Actually, I showed MASH SF in class today while kids were reviewing for a test. Volume was down to keep it clean.
