Shitty place to design a crossing of any sort. Not placing blame on the cyclist, but it's tough to put it on the driver when you're coming from 65+ mph to city streets... bummer for her. BMX'ed up threw stevens canyon, also training rides all over the place threw that area and around NoCal. * fact going threw palo alto the cops use to pull huge amounts of riders over while going full speed. Wish we just had more bike awareness with all parties involved. but i think the US warships the auto to much to even give us 12 inches of ride space on narrow roads. *its like get out of my way! I say this all the time if i get hit please allow me to just rest in peace, and may my love for riding pass on to others! I have chills as i type, grew up in that area as a kid.
