Iowa is the spot.

What started as a tiny idea quickly worked its way into one of the coolest projects I’ve ever had the pleasure of working on.

I’m extremely proud to tell everyone about the 2008 Punk Rock Cycling Womens Race Team- 8 Iowa women dedicated to racing, promoting their sport, leading clinics, hosting races, writing zines, teaching others, flying the flag, setting the example, getting involved, and aiming to improve the state of womens racing in the Midwest.

The man, the legend. The guy who started it all back in the Year of Our Lord Beer, 2000, with a couple of pages worth of idiotic ranting hardcoded on some random porn site that would host anything you uploaded, a book called HTML for Dummies (which was completely appropriate), a bad attitude (which hasn’t much changed), and a Dell desktop running Win95 with 64 mgs of ram and a six gig hard drive.   1. I am extremely impressed with how well organized and promoted the PunkRock Team is. I know my daughter(Ana)feels honored to be a memeber of the team and has nothing but good things to say about all the individuals associated with the team. Keep up the good work and great website!
