Having been a friend of Mikes since the early 90’s it was hard to hear of his passing. He was a great peron to know because he always had a positive outlook and it was very infectious to be around. I took Mike snowboarding on one of his first days ever and I could tell right away he would pick it up in no time. With in a month he was teaching lessons himself and pretty damn good I must ad. I would like to let everyone know that life cam be short and to enjoy the time we are given here and let your friends and family know how much you care before it is to late.

big J, all I can say is hopefully he went out dreaming about having a perfect race, or how fortunate he was to be in the family of cyclists. My best wishes to his family. I just lost a good friend, Ryan Shay, a few weeks ago. He died at 5.5 miles into the Olympic Trials Marathon. I hope God has a plan for all of the great people who go before they slip into their later years.
