   I live in North Carolina and Unknown Hinson rolls through my neck of the woods about every 3-5 months. I’d highly recommend his live shows…I’ve seen about 5 of them. Buy him a few shots of “party liquor” and watch the fireworks commence. And those glue-on sideburns never fail to crack me up.

   Also, check out Squidbillies on Adult Swim. Unknown Hinson is the voice of family patriarch Early Cuyler.

   hinson does rock the shit out of NC, but last time he was in raleigh he played a 20-something minute Hendrix jam. but AWESOME up to that point.

   Saw this guy open for Reverend Horton Heat, in Solana Beach, a couple of years ago. Fun show. It’s always a treat when you actually *enjoy* the opening act, as opposed to just tolerating them whilst waiting for the headliner. The crowd was totally into them as well.
