Big Pun & Fitty came through with a couple bottles of champagne on ice. Tops were popped, glasses raised, jokes shared.

And now I have to post this.

President George W Bush cannot order the indefinite military detention of a Qatari man accused of being an al-Qaeda agent, a US appeals court has ruled.

Ali Saleh Kahlah al-Marri, the only person being held on US soil as an “enemy combatant”, was seized three months after the 9/11 terror attacks.

He has been held without charge in a navy prison for almost four years.

The ruling is seen as a setback for the Bush administration over its policies on the detention of terror suspects.

If he’s broken the law, charge him accordingly. It doesn’t seem that complicated from where I’m standing.

About big jonny

The man, the legend. The guy who started it all back in the Year of Our Lord Beer, 2000, with a couple of pages worth of idiotic ranting hardcoded on some random porn site that would host anything you uploaded, a book called HTML for Dummies (which was completely appropriate), a bad attitude (which hasn’t much changed), and a Dell desktop running Win95 with 64 mgs of ram and a six gig hard drive. Those were the days. Then he went to law school. Go figure. Flagstaff, Arizona, USA
